ABOUT Varun
I've been passionate about wildlife travel for as long as I can remember, growing up in a family that embraced the wilderness. Since the early 1980s, I’ve visited countless parks, back when they were far less crowded. In those days, tourists and photographers were few, and it wasn’t uncommon to have a park almost to yourself. Fast forward 35-40 years, and things have changed significantly. India, now home to nearly one-sixth of the world’s population, has left little room for untouched wilderness. Yet, the Indian subcontinent boasts of incredible biodiversity, including about 8% of the world’s wildlife species. Few realize that India has the highest diversity of wildcats globally and hosts half of the world's bear species.

This passion for wildlife led me to create a platform where I could share the wonders of our natural heritage. Without formal training in forest management or conservation, I turned to tourism and wildlife photography. Through this platform, I aim to raise awareness about conservation, sustainability, and wildlife protection. I hope my photography and blogs inspire you to explore and appreciate the beauty of these landscapes yourself.
